SAN JOSE, CALIF. -- July 15, 2009 --
Forte Design Systems will showcase
its SystemC high-level synthesis software for hardware and electronic
system level (ESL) design in Booth #1225 at the 46th Design Automation
Conference (DAC) July 27-30 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
Individual Cynthesizer(tm) demonstrations will prove that it is the only
high-level synthesis software that supports complex control and datapath
designs with fully accurate modeling capabilities with SystemC,
integrated verification utilizing the same testbench, and is silicon
proven in more than one hundred taped-out designs.
Also in the Forte Booth #1225, a tutorial titled, "An Introduction to
Behavioral Synthesis with Cynthesizer," will give engineers and
engineering managers more detailed technical information on high-level
synthesis. A session for university students interested in learning
about SystemC and ESL will be offered by Forte's technical experts and
managers. To schedule a demonstration or to register for either session,
go to:
www.forteds.com/dac2009/register.asp?ref=dac2009PR.
Mike Meredith, Forte's vice president of technical marketing and
president of Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI), will present an activities
update at the North American SystemC Users Group Meeting July 27.
Details on this DAC collocated event, can be found at:
http://www.nascug.org.
Forte, Cadence and Calypto will host a lunch-hour discussion about
the next generation of design titled, "Are SystemC- and TLM-Driven
Design Ready to Replace RTL?" Tuesday, July 28. It will include a mix of
presentations and a debate on how SystemC and transaction-level modeling
(TLM)-driven design techniques have evolved to become mainstream. To
register, visit: www.forteds.com.
Finally, Forte will once again host the bagpipe performance, the
yearly tradition to close DAC, Thursday, July 30, at 12:50 p.m. in Booth
#1225.
